We LOVE the zoo!!

As you can see, we had a busy week!!  Our collage this week is LOTS bigger!  We had a GREAT time, this week, learning about the zoo and the animals!  

Sweet little Hannah even had fun, as you can see from the middle picture!!  She "colored" on my ipad and LOVED it!  

We read lots of books about the zoo and we made some really fun zoo art!!!  I think the favorite art was the giraffe handprint!  Greyson really loved making the monkey too!!  
We had a REALLY fun field trip to Boulder Ridge Wild Animal Park!  We were able to pet a baby zebra, we fed giraffes, and we rod on the zebra bus!

Now we are on to learning about families!!

Friends Are Fun!!

Last week, we learned about friends!  We talked about how some of our friends go to "Big Boy Preschool," and some of our friends are in "All Day School."  
We learned that friends come in different sizes and even different colors, but no matter who they are, they all have feelings and they are all special!
We  started something new this week too!  We now have Parent Participation Folders!  So far, the parents liked them and are as excited about them as I am!!
Logan and Brody made a huge milestone this week too!  They learned how to do the slide by themselves, but better that that, they learned how to take turns on the slide!!  

Farm Week Fun

Farm week was a LOT of fun!!  We painted a colorful sheep with cotton balls, which the kids really enjoyed!  We practiced coloring "C = Cow" and we practiced the #1!  We practiced tracing/coloring names as well.  I think the favorite of the week was the field trip to Nelson's Farm Market!  We saw goats, chickens, baby cows, peacocks, llamas, horses, and a big pig that liked to grunt at us!  The kids also enjoyed the antique tractor!  We came home with fresh donuts and Honeycrisp Apples fresh from the trees! YUMMY!!!

Next week, we will be learning about friends and practicing our Bible verse and Bible concept for the month.

I didn't disappear!!!

It has been a while since I have been in here!  I didn't disappear!!  I am still alive and SonShine Kids are still going strong and busy!
I want to introduce you to my current group of kids!  God continues to bless us with amazing kids that just fit right in!  I know that your first reaction will be WAY too many kids.  Only 3 of them are full time!! :)  No worries!!  :)  I will start with the youngest and go up from there!

 This is Brody!  He is 17 months old!

 This is Liam!  He just turned 2!

 This is Jeremiah!  He is 2 years old!

 This is Greyson!  He is 3 years old!

 This is Nickolas!  He is 3 years old!

 This is Braxton!  He is 3 1/2 years old!

 This is Israel!  He is 4 years old!

 This is Caden!  He is 4 years old!

 This is Owen!  He is 4 1/2 years old!

 This is Aiden!  He is 5 years old!

 This is Alexis!  She is 6 1/2 years old!

 This is Tyler!  He is 11 years old!

And last but not least, this is Bryce!  He is 12 1/2 years old!
